The IBJJF has announced that the World Master Championship will be happening this year, so competitors should be preparing themselves to put it all on the line in mid-December.
The organization has opened registration for the event, which is now scheduled for December 14-20 in Orlando, Florida. Though the event is normally hosted in California in August, the COVID-19 pandemic significantly altered the IBJJF calendar this year, prompting the change.
A potential date of November 10 has also been proposed for the adult World Championship, though this is still tentative. On November 11, the IBJJF will be posting the dates on which each age and belt level will compete at Master Worlds.
