Leandro Lo

Brazilian jiu-jitsu superstar Leandro Lo has steadily risen through the ranks of the fighting world to become one of the top contenders in multiple weight divisions, and now Lo has decided to sign up for the Abu Dhabi World Pro in the highest possible weight category.

Headlines across Brazil this week read, “Leandro Lo Competing at 110kg at Abu Dhabi Pro” in response to the announcement from the world-class fighter’s team. Lo is well-known in the jiu-jitsu world for his willingness to take on the biggest opponents and the roughest challenges. See full brackets here:

The United Arab Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation removed the absolute division after last year’s World Pro, so Lo will be competing in the 110-kilogram division along with fighters like Jose Junior, Andre Campos and more. Lo will fight on Thursday, April 20 in the World Pro Country Qualifier with the hopes of being one of two fighters who will represent Brazil in the main World Pro bracket on Friday, April 21.
