The number of sex offenses in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya has skyrocketed to alarming new highs. An unlikely group of brave senior citizens is dealing with the threat personally. Meet Kenya’s karate grannies, which is one of the few groups actually able to fight off attackers in the worst parts of the city. Part of the reason for their success is the fact that they fight with a reckless abandon that criminals don’t know how to handle. Some assailants assume that seniors are easy targets.
