Bellator fighter Neiman Gracie has his next fight lined up, and this time, he’ll get his chance to shine in the co-main event.
The news was first reported by MMA Fighting.
Neiman, the son of Carla Gracie and nephew to Renzo Gracie, will be taking on Mark Lemminger in the co-main event of September 18’s Bellator 266. The main event will feature a fight between Yoel Romero and Phil Davis.
Gracie will be coming off the second loss in his twelve-fight professional career, having dropped a unanimous decision to Jason Jackson back in April during the welterweight grand prix. Prior to that, though, he came back from a decision loss to Rory MacDonald with a second-round heel hook finish against Jon Fitch.
This will be Lemminger’s fifth Bellator appearance, and he’ll be hoping to follow up strong after a June TKO victory against Demarques Jackson. Prior to his most recent win, Jackson was on a two-fight losing skid, but before that, he was able to maintain a four-fight winning streak over the course of nearly two years.
Bellator 266 will take place on Saturday, September 18.
