The PFL regular season has concluded, revealing which athletes would be moving on to the playoffs to take the next step in the pursuit of their respective titles and the $1 million prize that comes with them.

The PFL playoffs will take place over three events in August, with the first setting the stage for the male welterweight and lightweight semifinals. The fights for this card, which takes place on August 13, will host multiple former champions, including 2018 PFL champ Magomed Magomedkerimov, 2019 PFL champ Ray Cooper III, and former Bellator champion Rory MacDonald.

In the men’s heavyweight semifinals, Bruno Cappelozza will test himself against Jamelle Jones, and Denis Goltsov will battle it out against Ante Delija.

In another exciting development, Olympic boxing champion Claressa Shields will be making her sophomore MMA appearance on this same card. Shields made her debut in impressive fashion, defeating BJJ brown belt Brittney Elkin via TKO back in June. Shields was originally scheduled to make her return on August 27, but the promotion has since moved her fight up. An opponent for Shields has yet to be announced.
