Renzo Gracie Injured, Rematch With Matt Hughes Cancelled At ADCC 2015

Fans will be disappointed when they learn of the news of the recent development. According to ADCC the rematch between Renzo Gracie and his planned opponent Matt Hughes is off for the ADCC 2015 event. Both Gracie and Hughes, who had already fought each other at the UFC 112 event in 2010, were going to grapple again at the future event at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championship. This event was set on August 29 and August 30 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. However, MMA Fighting say that the match is going to be cancelled because of Gracie’s injury. According to the local officials, Gracie is going to have to undergo serious surgery in order to fix his  knee injury. This promotion will expect to announce that a new special match will occur instead, with the announcement planned later in the  week. The pride veteran Ze Mario Sperry, who had defeated Renzo Gracie back in 2011 and then Fabio Gurgel in 2013, is going to meet with the American Top Team head coach Ricardo Liborio in the future. There will be many more developments to the story as time goes on.
