Rodolfo Vieira and Bruno Malfacine are set to compete in the mixed martial arts promotion Shooto Brazil.
Vieira, who has fought in MMA once before, will be taking on Natalicio Nascimento Filho. Malfacine will be making his MMA debut against Romario Garcia.
Both Vieira and Malfacine are highly decorated, Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitors. Rodolfo was an IBJJF World Champion from 2011 to 2014. He also holds championships in ADCC and Copo Podio. He won his first MMA match back in February of this year via first-round rear naked choke.
Bruno Malfacine has dominated IBJJF tournaments, holding championships too numerous to count. He holds wins over such big names as Caio Terra and Makenzie Dern’s father, Wellington “Megaton” Dias.
Both men will be in action on August 27.
