Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has revealed that she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Travis Browne.
The MMA pioneer and WWE veteran revealed the exciting news on social media, saying that she was four months pregnant and that her due date is September 22.
Rousey and Browne, a fellow UFC veteran, have been married since 2017. Browne has two children from his first marriage.
Rousey made history as the first woman from the USA to win an Olympic medal in judo when she took home bronze in the 2008 Summer Olympics. She was named the first women’s bantamweight champion for the UFC and fought to victory against Liz Carmouche in the first female fight in the promotion’s history. Rousey last fought in 2016 to a TKO loss against Amanda Nunes. She was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.
