Ryan “Darth” Bader has made Bellator history, ladies and gentlemen, becoming the first fighter in the organization to hold two belts simultaneously.

Well, technically three belts. Bader is not only the Heavyweight Champion and Light Heavyweight Champion, but he is also the Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion.

The three-belt champion took on one of MMA’s legends (some might say THE legend) “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko.

Both men took the center of the cage in the first.

Bader stayed light on his feet, but Fedor kept his feet planted…and he paid for it!

Less than 40 seconds into their battle, Bader knocked Fedor down with a massive left. Darth followed in with some ground-and-pound, and the referee called an end to it.

Though he was carrying three belts, Bader stayed humble, telling Bellator color commentator Big John McCarthy what an honor it was to be in the cage with the “legend” Fedor Emelianenko.

Humble and a three-belt champ. Doesn’t get much better than that!
