@lucasbarbosajj

Tarsis Humphrehys can go home tonight knowing he has a win over one of the biggest names in competitive jiu-jitsu, Leandro Lo.

Though not able to submit Lo, Humphrehys dictated the pace of the match, keeping Lo on the defensive.

Yet it was André Fabiano black belt Lucas Barbosa “Hulk” who went home with the main victory. Barbosa faced Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu star Nick Schrock. Barbosa scored a takedown and held some solid top pressure. He locked in a toe hold, but though he wasn’t able to submit his opponent, he did enough to impress the judges.

After the fight, Barbosa took some time to talk to the media, telling them that though he felt he would become the champion, he did not underestimate his opponent.
