Team World Vs Team UK: All Women Black Belt Teams To Compete At Battle Grapple VI

For the first time ever in the UK, two six-person teams composed of elite female black belts will face off in the main event of Battle Grapple 6. According to a post on the BG Instagram page, one team will be representing the United Kingdom with the other representing various countries from around the world.

Leading both teams are two of the most accomplished and famous female grapplers in the world today; IBJJF No-Gi World, IBJFF European and recent defending Polaris champion Ffion Davies for team UK and multiple-time IBJJF World champion and EBI champion Mayssa Bastos for team World.

Points gained during individual matches will be recorded and added to an overall team score. The event is set to take place on October 5 in the Leatherhead Theater. Tickets are available here.
