Watch WWE’s Shane McMahon Train At Renzo Gracie Academy For Undertaker Match at Wrestlemania

Every once in a while, the topic of conversation at the end of open mat will turn to pro wrestling and names like Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and Ric Flair will come up. During one open mat, my head instructor, Shawn Williams, who came up through the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City during the late 1990s to the early 2000s, mentioned he used to train with Shane McMahon at the academy and said he was pretty good. McMahon, the son of WWE CEO Vince McMahon, didn’t have to step in the ring as a performer, but he did so anyway taking massive bumps that included being shoved 30 feet off the Titan Tron, getting hit in the face with a steel ladder, and being thrown through a glass window. As part of his training for the squared-circle, McMahon trained BJJ and MMA at Renzo’s through the years.

McMahon recently announced his return to the WWE for the first time since 2010 and is scheduled to take on The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 in a Hell in a Cell match. In order to get in the best shape of his life in front of 100,000 plus fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, McMahon has returned to Renzo’s to prepare for his headlining return.

Watch the videos below to see Shane McMahon train with the Gracies and Muay Thai coach Phil Nurse.
