3rd Coast Grappling is the latest grappling promotion to announce their return as governments begin easing up on pandemic-related regulations.
The promotion has announced that their next event will be called “3CG: Kumite” and feature an eight-man -180lb bracket in the gi. The prize for winning the event will be $10,000 (winner takes all), and there will be no live audience. There will also be four superfights featuring local athletes.

Six of the spots in the tournament have already been filled, but two more athletes are still being sought to take the remaining slots. Should they earn a spot, they’ll be competing against the likes of Roberto Jimenez, Lucas Valente, Isaque Bahiense, Manuel Ribamar, Jake Watson, and William Tackett.
The promotion is currently taking applications for the June 6 event, which will be held at a yet-undisclosed location. Anyone interested in competing on the card can apply on the 3CG website or send a message to the promotion on social media.
