BJJ Black Belt Jimmy Flick Wins In 1st Round Via Flying Triangle At UFC Vegas 17

BJJ black belt Jimmy Flick scored his fourteenth submission win in his professional MMA career tonight at UFC Vegas 17 in spectacular fashion.

Flick needed barely over three minutes to land a flying triangle against Cody Durden, taking his time after initially making the leap to tighten up the choke and get the tap in the very first round of the fight.

The win was Flick’s fourth consecutive victory. Flick made his way into the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series, submitting Nate Smith with an arm triangle. With his second submission win for the UFC now in the books, we’re sure to see him getting more opportunities to show off his jiu-jitsu skills in the octagon.
