BJJ Star & UFC Fighter Mackenzie Dern Is Pregnant

Brazilian jiu-jitsu superstar and 7-0 MMA fighter Mackenzie Dern has revealed some exciting news in her personal life: she’s pregnant!

Dern and her partner, professional surfer Wesley Santos, shared the news on their social media accounts.

Dern has long been considered one of BJJ’s most accomplished and well-known female athletes. She started her MMA career in 2016 and hasn’t competed in a major jiu-jitsu tournament since 2017, instead choosing to focus on MMA. She’s had two fights in the UFC, the most recent of which took place in May of 2018.
