Dillon Danis will be looking to avenge his only submission loss at black belt as he takes on Garry “The Lion Killer” Tonon at Polaris 5, which will go down on August 19th at the indigo at The O2.
Jake Shields will also be on the card, pitting his American Jiu Jitsu against Dan the Raspberry Ape Strauss, one of the biggest characters in British jiu-jitsu.
Last but not least, UFC legend Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett will take the stage as he locks hornss with Polaris veteran and former UFC fighter Phil Harris.
These are all no-gi, 15-minute bouts that will be contested under the Polaris rules, which encourage constant action over the duration of the bout. You can check out the rules here.
