I'm 47 years old and have been training for about 18 months, and I find your advice incredibly valuable. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Thanks guys , was feeling down after training tonight. At 53 I'm not at my prime for sure. But I have any plans to quit.
Thank you.
I am 47 and have been training only 10 months. Did a few competitions and love the sport! This was so good for me mentally! Thank you!
I like the Boyd Belt rule. That's why you have age, weight and belt levels in Tournaments. As a 46 year old Purple Belt I have experienced most of what they spoke about. Watching young guys develop faster is tough, but great motivation and also, an honor and compliment to us as their training partners. Besides it feels even better when you can still tap 'em out! OLD GUYS RULE now GET OFF MY LAWN!!!
