Jiu-Jitsu Solo Drill To Help Your Game


Former Gunnery Sergeant, Phillip Wyman, began studying BJJ in 2001 – when he moved to Brazil and was taught by Renzo Gracie. These days, Wyman is a black belt who studies at the Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu Association, under Ben Eaton, Scott Oates and Saulo Ribeiro. Recently, Wyman posted a video online demonstrating various solo drill maneuvers, which are designed to enhance the performance of jiu jitsu practitioners. The solo drills featured on the video are the Bridge and Shrimp, the Bridge and Kickover, the Armbar Escape / Shoulder Spin, the Shoulder to Shoulder Press, Thread the Needle, the Warrior Walk, the Masters Lift and Wall Spins.
