Jon “Bones” Jones put on a dominant performance last Sunday when he took on retired UFC middleweight contender Dan Henderson at Submission Underground 2.
And Bones can’t wait to get in the cage again.
“I’m hoping Submission Underground 3 will give me a reason to get right back to the gym and really try to clean up my game even more,” Jones told interviewers. “…and I know Chael Sonnen has a match against Tito Ortiz, but I think up there tonight he agreed to go against me, so I’m excited.”
Jones didn’t waste any time poking fun at his former opponent, either.
You know, I beat him up so fast the first time, I never got an idea for what he actually has, so I hope he brings a little bit more to the table in this rematch.
