The PFL is back in 2021 after taking 2020 off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The promotion has already announced its male lightweight and featherweight rosters, the former of which will include the PFL debut of former UFC star Anthony Pettis, and now, the female lightweight roster has been revealed as well.

In a press release, the PFL has announced that reigning lightweight champion Kayla Harrison, who won the $1 million prize when she brought home the title over a year ago, will be working to defend her title in an eight-woman division.

Also competing for the honor and prize money is Cindy Dandois, who is currently on a four-fight winning streak dating back to March of 2019. New Zealand’s Genah Fabian will be returning to the PFL to compete for the title, and Invicta veteran Olena Kolesnyk will also be coming for Harrison this year. In the running as well is Shooto Brazil veteran Mariana Morais and newcomers Julija Pajic and Laura Sanchez.

Also exciting is the return of Larissa Pacheco, who made it to the previous year’s final round before being defeated by Harrison. It was their second fight — Harrison had previously defeated Pacheco in May of 2019. Might Pacheco get the better of the Olympic judoka this time around?

The 2021 PFL Season will begin on April 23 and can be watched on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+. The remaining regular-season events will take place on April 29, May 6, June 10, June 17, and June 25.
