Jiu-jitsu legend Mackenzie Dern has had her next UFC fight announced, and it looks like we’ll be seeing her return to the Octagon in April.
Dern is set to face Ariane Carnelossi at UFC Lincoln, which will take place on April 25. The fight will be Dern’s ninth professional MMA bout, and she’ll be hoping to secure her eighth win after coming off her first loss in October to Amanda Ribas. Carnelossi, who has finished eight of her twelve wins with a KO or TKO, is also coming off a loss after an impressive winning streak. Both fighters will be hoping to get back on the winning track, but Carnelossi won’t have an easy time with Dern’s submission attempts.
The strawweight fight will be Dern’s second bout since coming back to fighting after her pregnancy, which kept her out of the Octagon for over a year.
UFC Lincoln will take place on April 25.
