Michael Bisping’s 15-Year-Old Son Gets Silver Medal At SJJIF Championships

It looks like UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping isn’t the only one kicking ass in his family.

According to some recent Instagram posts from the champ, his 15-year-old son, Callum, competed in the Sports Jiu Jitsu International Federation’s (SJJIF) World Championships in Long Beach, California, over the weekend.

My boy @callum11231 just won his first match at the jujitsu world championships in Long beach. @rvcasport and he's having to compete in the 18 year old blue belt division. And he's a 15 year old junior orange belt. @mauriciotinguinha

Apparently, Callum did “The Count” proud and walked out with a silver medal around his neck.

“My son just won world silver medal at the jujitsu world championships. He did an amazing job representing @mauriciotinguinha #tinguinha jujitsu and the Bisping name 🙂 He lost the final by a razor close decision. Well done Callum! Couldn’t be prouder.”

Of course, with a father like Michael Bisping and a coach like Mauricio Tinguinha Mariano, the young Bisping certainly won’t need our wishes to take home gold in whatever combat sport he wishes to compete in.
