Romulo Barral is looking forward to his upcoming bout with Yuri Simones at the Berkut BJJ Invitational on August 13, 2016. Barral is aware of Simones’ ability, having fought and lost to him before at the ADCC Champsionshp in 2015. Barral is keen to avenge his loss and leave a legacy to inspire his students. He is calling on his years of experience to adopt training methods that are less time consuming, but equally as effective. The Invitational is being held in Russia, which Barral feels is a good venue to showcase his skills – given the country’s history of athletic achievement.
