The second Berkut grappling event will take place on November 21, 2015. A whopping 24 fighters are descending upon Moscow, Russia, to compete in this event. Of course, one might assume that the event contains 24 unknowns, but that’s not the case. These fighters share 10 ADCC championships and 25 IBJJF titles. A no-gi, submission only match between Romulo Barral and Andre Galvao headlines the vent. Without a doubt, we could witness a match for the ages at Berkut.
Another 11 matches are slated for the card as the stars head to Russia for Berkut Jiu-Jitsu Event Stars. A lot of people are excited for this grappling event. Fortunately, the original Berkut event drew praise across the world, and this event should build upon that success with ease. Records could be broken, and the winning grapplers will surely find further fame. We’ll undoubtedly see a third event down the road.
