Mickey Gall has just improved his MMA record with another win at UFC 203 in Cleveland, Ohio. He fought former WWE champion CM Punk who debuted in the match. Gall now has three straight dominating performances. This one came via first-round submission.
Gall called out Northcutt.
“I want ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt. I think that boy’s corny. I want to punch the spikes out of his hair,” said Gall.
The difference in skill level was evident from the start. Gall was able to take his opponent down quite early. On the floor, Punk could not shake off the aggressor. It was over after Gall was able to lock a rear naked choke forcing the wrestling star into submission.
This victory makes him one of the most serious contenders in the welterweight division. Fans are eager to know what’s next, and he said he has his eye on Sage Northcutt. This might come sooner rather than later as it seems that the other camp is interested. According to MMA Junkie, Dana White confirmed that Sage Northcutt wants to fight Mickey Gall. That’s two stellar prospects in one exciting bout.
