Brock Lesnar was one of the UFC’s highest selling athletes at one time, and there is some evidence he might be making a return.

Only an hour before this writing, Dana White posted a picture of himself and Brock Lesnar — who was wearing a UFC shirt — on his Facebook page:

Veteran MMA reporter and The MMA Hour host Ariel Helwani took to Twitter shortly afterwards. Though he didn’t say anything about a definite reutrn, he did say, at the very least, Lesnar and White had a “mutual interest” in each other:

Brock Lesnar has not had the best of luck in the UFC. He is riding a three-fight no-win streak in mixed martial arts, and his last fight was ruled a no contest (originally a unanimous decision win in Lesnar’s favor) when he tested positive for clomiphene, an estrogen blocker.

However, as Helwani correctly pointed out, the UFC is hurting for talent now. Ronda Rousey is in the WWE, GSP will probably not return again, and Conor McGregor may decide to hang up his gloves, despite his recent Instagram post.

The UFC is in a position where it needs Brock Lesnar far more than Brock Lesnar needs the UFC, so if the pro-wrestling star is looking to make a return to the octagon, Dana White would no doubt take him back with open arms and a huge wad of cash.

So might Joe Rogan for that matter:
