Shaving your head in support of someone battling cancer is a well-known and powerful display of solidarity. While some people can feel a bit down about parting with their hair (even for a good cause), one jiu-jitsu coach didn’t hesitate when the clippers came out.

And yep, it paid off — the academy managed to raise a whopping $2,000 for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which seeks to find a cure for childhood cancer.
