Tim Kennedy Survival Training: ‘Old Man Jiu-Jitsu Is For Old Men To Die’

In an increasingly uncertain world, self-defense might not be enough. As espionage techniques and weapons capabilities expand and advance, it becomes vital not just to own a weapon but to know how to use it. With more and more eggs being tucked into fewer and fewer baskets, we must not prepare for the inevitable collapse of society, but for whatever comes next.

Our country has been hiding behind a wall for almost 75 years. A wall with men standing on top of it doing everything they can to protect those hiding behind it. Those hiding judge, condemn, and sharp shoot both the preparation and method in which they are protected. This isn't about making vigilantes. This isn't about scaring people. This is about making Americans some tough mother fuckers again. We said after Pearl Harbor we would never let something like that happen again. Then 9/11 happened and we again seemed so resolute. We are now fighting in the longest war of American history. A war that is even happening now in our own cities. It's time for us to remember who we are, what we stand for, and where we came from. #Sheepdog #freedomDirected by @amirzing

Enter Tim Kennedy: a patriot, a fighter, and a leader of men and women. Since 2015, Kennedy has directed Operation Sheepdog, a survival training course based out of Washington, D.C. This isn’t some mini-mall jiu-jitsu class. Enrollees will learn how to fight for their lives using fists, blades, and handguns. Kennedy, a retired Special Forces sniper and Green Beret, believes in preparing his pupils for quite literally anything that might come their way. He welcomes students of all colors, genders, and creeds. Though he regards all human beings as equals, his trainees walk away with a distinct advantage: the confidence that they will be able to manage whichever world awaits us.
