The UFC’s Big Plans For The Featherweight Division

According to veteran MMA reporter Ariel Helwani, the UFC has some big plans for its featherweight division.

First, it is planning on stripping “The Notorious” Connor McGregor of his featherweight title.  This will make him the champion of the lightweight division only.

Reigning Interim Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo will once again take over as the division’s champion.

Finally, in order to fill the vacant slot left by the scrapped Cormier vs Rumble fight, Anthony Pettis and Max Holloway will duke it out for the interim featherweight title.

None of these changes are official, of course, but if they were to happen, what would you think of them?
