Video: Pedro Sauer Wrist Locks The Crackhead Who Groped His Daughter In The Crowd

Professor Pedro Sauer was on vacation in Greece and he just texted me this video! Back story: A crackhead gropes his daughter in the crowd and flees. Pedro’s wife points the guy out sitting on a curb. Pedro wrist locks him until he cries and makes him apologize to his daughter. Left hook to the body was just a bonus reminder not to do it again! Learn self-defense, there are crazy people everywhere and unless Professor Sauer is your father, you will have to fend for yourself!

  1. It’s understandable that Sauer did this. A father worth his salt would do this.

My only beef is that the term “self-defense” entered the picture due to the captioning of the video. This is NOT self-defense, this is retribution (and IMHO, an acceptable one at that). A guy who combines Yellow Bamboo, arnis and ninjutsu and started calling it MMA will be the laughingstock of many, calling this incident a “self-defense” scenario could land one a hefty fine or in jail. Self-defense has a narrow criteria: criminal law. You break/don’t follow those criteria, it’s not self-defense.

Just as the punch that you can’t see is the one that knocks you out, protecting oneself against the hand of gropers is hard because one doesn’t know who’s the groper until he does the deed. This is action after the fact (event), not a valid context in most self-defense laws (unless you caught him in the act, halting the deed and restraining him). Better to leave it to the authorities, unless of course you are willing to take the law into your hands (thus breaking it as well).
