Whether in his prime or not, Royce Gracie is widely considered to be one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the world. However, back in the day when Gracie was at his best, a man by the name of Wallid Ismail chokes out Royce Gracie in his prime. Ismail is one of the few people in the world today that can lay claim to choking out Royce and he did so in Royce’s native country of Brazil. Getting your hand raised when your opponent is Royce Gracie is a hard accomplishment to achieve, but Wallid Ismail is one of the few who did it.
