Craig Jones and Keenan Cornelius are set to square up at the main event of Polaris 8 once December 9 rolls around. While both competitors are known for their good nature and sense of humor, it seems that even the notoriously chill Jones can’t always keep himself from talking a little smack.
A promotional graphic for the event has revealed that the Australian grappler (whose upset at 2017’s ADCC ended with a loss to Cornelius) had some harsh (but, let’s be real, hilarious) words for his light heavyweight championship opponent.

“Keenan invented the worm guard, wasted 90 minutes of our lives with that first Gordon Ryan match, and he has blue hair. Who doesn’t want to see this man lose?”
While a lot of martial arts trash-talk comes across as aggressive bickering, we kind of want to see if the witty Cornelius will have a good response.
Oh, and for those who haven’t already seen, Keenan really is sporting blue hair right now.
