Edmond Tarverdyan, Ronda Rousey’s coach files for bankruptcy

Bloody Elbow reports:

Edmond Tarverdyan, Ronda Rousey’s coach files for bankruptcy in Los Angeles.

With largely more debt than assets, Tarverdyan has no choice but to file. His listing as ‘not employed’ with an 80.00 gross income and no net income means the entire gross goes toward his business, Glendale Fighting Club. With 700,000 in debt and 3.000 in assets, Glendale Fighting Club will likely liquidate in hopes of wiping the debt. His wife’s assets are in the bankruptcy papers yet have no effect on his shortcomings.

As Ronda continues to rank in millions, here’s hoping her coach can rank toward being debt-free

  1. it isn’t rondas job to bail him out. its his fault for not being smart with money. if he wants to be a responsible husband and pay the bills, he needs to get a better paying job or a second job. ronda’s only obligation to him is to pay him what he is due for his training, not to fix his financial mess.
