It’s official, ladies and gentlemen. Former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis will be making his featherweight debut against Charles Oliveira on August 27 on UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver.
Oliveira is 21-5(1) in MMA and is coming off of a first-round submission win over Myles Jury.
Pettis has not been so lucky as of late. The former lightweight kingpin is on a three-fight losing streak and will no doubt be hoping to get himself back on track in his new division.
UFC on FOX 21 will kick off from the Rogers Arena only a week after UFC 202. A middleweight bout between Gareth McLellan and Alessio Di Chirico is also on the card.
