The most recent UFC press conference will certainly go down in history as one of the most memorable. It also certainly justified claims that the sport is starting to look more like pro-wrestling than any non-scripted sport.
Jon “Bones” Jones and Daniel “DC” Cormier were there, and so was their animosity for each other. In fact, UFC officials were so worried about what could happen if they let the two of them get close, that Bones and DC weren’t even allowed to square off.

It didn’t take long for the trash talking to follow.
“Is this guy going to mess this up again by doing steroids, or snorting cocaine, or sandblasting prostitutes?” Cormier asked. “What’s this guy going to do to mess this up this time?”
Interestingly, the only thing Jones denied about DC’s accusations were the prostitutes.
“I beat you after a weekend of cocaine,” Bones calmly responded. “I had two great weekends: cocaine one, your ass the next.”

It wasn’t only men causing trouble, either. Reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko were in no mood to play nice at the UFC’s presser. When the two squared off, the champ stuck her fist in Shevchenko’s face and pushed her away. UFC officials separated them shortly after.
