On Saturday January 9th, 2016…the Copa Podio Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix took place and plenty of great action took place at the event and here are the Copa Podio Light Weight GP Result. The lightweight grand prix saw ten competitors compete for the honor of becoming champion and in the end, it was the legendary Leandro Lo walking away champion. Even more significant for Lo, is that this is the last competition he was competing in because the legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor announced his pending retirement before the event. Other notable performances from the grand prix saw Diego Borges winning the Grupo Amarelo division, while other notables like Lucas Lepri, Davi Ramos and Dillon Danis competed. A big upset was scored in a special submission challenge match when David Viera shocked Robson Gracie on the legendary Gracie Family. The Copa Podio Jiu-JItsu Grand Prix is now in the books and if you missed this legendary event, you need never made that mistake ever again.
