It’s not a good idea to make Cyborg angry. Twitter is abuzz with the news that Cris Cyborg punched Angela Magana at a UFC retreat. According to Ariel Helwani, the two women had a heated exchange which caused tempers to flare. It was Cyborg who threw the first strike, which rocked Magana but didn’t send her to the ground.
Cris Cyborg & Angela Magana just got into an altercation at the retreat. Words exchanged, tempers flared and Cyborg punched Magana.

The people around them quickly stepped in and broke up the altercation. It is said that the source of the conflict were personal tweets coming from Magana which made Cyborg extremely upset. Magana had a busted lip because of the incident and received medical attention.

According to witnesses, Cyborg confronted Magana outside the fighter hotel about her various derogatory social media posts.

Magana responded with "I don't have to respect you. Fuck you!" And made a motion towards Cris. That is when Cyborg fired off a shot.
