Dana White On Mackenzie Dern: ‘We’ve Been Checking Her Out, She’s A Bad Ass”

Mackenzie Dern may not yet be a household name, but she seems to be on the fast track to stardom. Since making her professional debut in 2016, Dern has been a topic of conversation as much for her looks as for her fighting ability. Although Dern isn’t quite in the same league as stars such as Ronda Rousey, according to Dana White on Mackenzie Dern, it is surely only a matter of time until that happens.

3-0! One more victory! Of course, there are ALWAYS things To get better, I would have like to win by submission but it didn't happen this time, I had to use my stand up that thankfully my team has been working hard to prepare the best possible for these situations and helping me evolve as a MMA fighter! Thank you everyone for all the support and a big kiss to all of you!! 💪🏼👊🏼👍🏼👌🏼☝🏼💋 Photo by @lfafighting #cantstopwontstop #mma #jiujitsu

The UFC president told TMZ and admitted that they had been ‘checking her out’ and described Dern as a ‘little bad ass’. Dern may well deserve the compliment, if that’s what it was – she came to the attention of a lot of fans with her perfect 3-0 record in the Legacy Fighting Alliance. Dern has already won many Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions, and White admits that the 23 year old star has a lot of potential, despite her recent struggles with weight.
