Ben Askren doesn’t think much of Dillon Danis, but apparently Dillon Danis doesn’t think much of Ben Askren either.
In an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Danis claimed that Ben Askren — who is undefeated and one of the most dominant grapplers in mixed martial arts — would be an easy submission for him.
“I feel like I am the one to beat his undefeated record,” Danis told Helwani. “You know…um…it would be, I think, a ground fight, and it would be an easy submission for me. He does not like leg attacks. I know his game very well, you know, and I feel like he would be scared to go to the ground with me.”
Danis also talked about his relationship with his former instructor, Marcelo Garcia. Apparently, things between them are still rough, and Garcia did not even bother to text Dillon after his win.
