Garry Lee Tonon spoke about regarding Eddie Bravo. He says that Bravo has a lot of class, and that he is helping the sport to grow in ways that it never has before. All of these entertainment based grappling event should cross promote athletes and events regularly.
The viewer base definitely can expand for these events. Everyone involved (viewers, promoters, and athletes alike) can benefit a great deal from taking these actions. It’s not only about the competition of this sport. The fighters and fans should all be helping further it together. Make a bigger pie instead of trying to get a larger slice of what little there is available.

“Wow, ALL CLASS @therealeddiebravo, this is what I’m talking about. Entertainment based grappling is in a never seen before growth spurt. Thank you for helping it grow, and not trying to stangle it. This is a great example of what all entertainment based grappling events should be doing. If all the promoters of these events were smart they would be cross promoting events and athletes all the time. There is so much room for expansion of the viewer base for these types of events. In the end the athletes, the sport, the viewers, and the promoters will benefit from actions like this, promoting so called “competitors” events. Everyone needs to stop trying to steal the biggest slice of the pie they can. It’s best to make a bigger pie first, or everyone will be fighting over just mere scraps forever.”
