Men play an important role in the safety of women. Understanding that no means no has a lot to do with that. It’s crucial to listen to what the other person is saying and understand body language when relating to all people. When a man relates to a woman, he knows that if a woman’s response is not an enthusiastic yes, she means no.
Just because a woman is polite when she turns down a man’s advances doesn’t mean she doesn’t firmly mean what she’s saying. All men that make advances to women must listen to what she’s saying and follow along accordingly. If that doesn’t happen, it’s sexual assault. All men should have this understanding. Until that is made possible, Jiu Jitsu training is always available to learn to prevent any assaults from happening. This is what every man must do to keep women safe.
