On the evening of June 29, Flo grappling announced a barn burner matchup had been finalized between Felipe Pena and Kaynan Duarte for the next BJJ Stars event on July 25. This will be the first time either man has competed since Pena’s loss to Andre Galvao at ADCC 2019 and Kaynan’s recent win over Vinicius Trator earlier this year.
The latest in an already stacked series of matches, the event is set to include the likes of Leandro Lo, Lucas Barbosa and Bianca Basilio to name a few.
Stylized as “The Return,” this will be BJJ Stars’ first event post COVID-19. The JJT will continue to follow this event as it develops.
