Undefeated boxing champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather seems to be serious about his MMA debut. In an interview with Fight Hype, Money said he’s already training for his first match in the cage.
Many have doubted Floyd’s sincerity about fighting in the UFC. After all, not only is he in his forties — well past prime for an MMA fighter — but he probably wouldn’t make a fraction of the money he normally makes boxing.
Still, the combat sports world has seen stranger things. No one honestly thought McGregor vs Mayweather would happen, but it did.
