Floyd Mayweather Shoots Down Rumor He Will Be Fighting In The UFC: ‘I’m Not Doing It”

Earlier today, some minor tremors shook the combat sports community when Joe Rogan confirmed that Floyd Mayweather was in talks with Dana White to fight in the UFC.

Some, including White, thought Mayweather was crazy. After all, Floyd is 40 years old, and while he’s a multiple-time boxing champion, he has little to no grappling experience.

Well, apparently Floyd Mayweather also thinks it’s a crazy idea for him to fight in MMA, as he just shot down rumors that he was in talks with Dana White to fight in the UFC.

“Exactly what I said is this: if I could make over a billion dollars before, I could do it again,” Mayweather said on Fight Hype. “If I chose to get in the UFC and fight three fights or fight four fights and then fight Conor McGregor, I could make a billion dollars. Which I can. I could do it in three fights or even four fights — I could make a billion dollars. If I choose to get in the Octagon and fight.”

In case anyone was unclear, Floyd reiterated, “I’m not doing it!”
