There’s been a lot of talk about it, but Garry Tonon’s first mixed martial arts match has been set.
Tonon will be fighting Richard “Lion Heart” Corminal at ONE Championship’s Iron Will on March 24. The fight will go down in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Impact Area. The event will start at 7pm Thailand time, so those wishing to view the fight in the United States will no doubt have to get up early.
Corminal has lost both of his fights (both times in the first round) at ONE, and will no doubt be looking to place himself back in the win column with what could be the biggest win of his career.
Tonon signed with ONE last year after competing at their first and only grappling match, where he competed against Shinya Aoki.
Garry Tonon’s match against Richard Corminal will be the co-main event.
