One of the greatest fighters in UFC history is ready to return to the octagon.
Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre is ready to fight in the UFC again, according to what he said during an interview on The MMA Hour hosted by Ariel Helwani.
Georges St. Pierre has not fought in nearly three years, with his last fight being a controversial decision win over Johny Hendricks in November 2013.
St-Pierre stated fatigue and the lack of a proper drug testing program were the reasons behind his retirement. The UFC has since partnered with the United States Anti-Doping Agency to deal with the problem, a move that has caught the attention of GSP.
Rumors are suggesting that GSP will move up to middleweight and challenge Michael Bisping for the middleweight championship once his contract has been signed and made official.
