Jon Jones, former UFC champion has plead guilty to 4th degree felony after crashing his car into a pregnant woman and fleeing the scene. Jones was sentenced for up to 18 months of supervised probation and 72 appearances of speaking with grade school children as part of the plea deal.
Jones’ lawyer talked in behalf of the UFC champ, telling the court that he was remorseful and had apologized to the injured woman. He mentioned Jones’ work with children after the crash. Jones for his part asked for a second chance and even made a light joke about working on his public speaking.
