The world of mixed martial arts has been rocked this week when UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum pulled out of a scheduled title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 196. One heavyweight contender is not happy about the whole scenario as Josh Barnett on Fabricio Werdum pulling out on UFC 196 video has surfaced. In the video, Barnett states that while he understands the reasons behind Werdum pulling out of the championship encounter, he feels that he would not do that himself if under the same circumstances. Barnett himself is readying for battle against fellow heavyweight contender Ben Rothwell at UFC On Fox 18. With no fighter yet stepping up to face Stipe Miocic at UFC 196 in just under two weeks, it could be interesting to see if Barnett can defeat Ben Rothwell at UFC On Fox 18 and possibly fight again a week later at UFC 196, which would be a simply daunting task at best.
