Recently, Holloway was awarded his purple belt by Rylan Lizares, in the aftermath of his memorable UFC win versus Anthony Pettis, when he became interim featherweight champion.

Having just celebrated his twenty-fifth birthday, Holloway has a big future to look forward to. A bout with Jose Aldo, another BJJ enthusiast and recently crowned featherweight titlist, could be on the cards.
