UFC interim Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber showed up on UFC Tonight with Brian Stann and Kenny Florian to promote their upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter and McGregor produced fireworks. Love him or hate him, McGregor was quite the trash talking entertainer, spewing verbal crosses and hooks towards Faber that left the usually confident Faber reeling.
At the 5:23 mark McGregor commented that “TJ was KO’d on the show (TUF)” which did happen on the finale when he lost to John Dodson. Faber denied TJ was KO’d, but it did happen. Then McGregor continues that “Dillashaw is a snake in the grass” and the smack talk continues. The interim champion then shifted to talking smack on Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone’s marketability and how their paychecks pale in comparison to his own.
Again, love him or hate him, whenever McGregor speaks, he is entertaining.
